Wrenegade Foundation is now Farm Community Fund

We are excited to announce that Wrenegade Foundation is now doing business as Farm Community Fund. This January the Board of Directors agreed that the organization needed a name that better reflected the work it does in event host communities to help keep open spaces open.

“Farm Community Fund captures the most important aspects of the work we do,” said Tyler Wren, Board President. “Our funding priorities are aimed at supporting local agricultural and community initiatives through project grants and raising awareness of important issues. Farm Community Fund just seemed to say it all.”

In addition to a new name, the board has also revisited and polished the organization’s purpose. The new mission is to foster vital farms, open spaces, and rural communities.

Farm Community Fund is excited for the upcoming cycling event season, and looks forward to supporting farms and organizations from Vermont to South Carolina this through grants and educational programs at Farm to Fork Fitness Adventures in May through October.
