These Lands
The real value of the land is how it feeds our souls. It isn’t what we can pull out of it or build on top of it that we’ll miss, but the opportunity to sit with the earth, to listen to it and feel it, that we will long for when we’ve covered it all up. It is our collective responsibility to respect, preserve, and enjoy these lands, and to teach future generations to do the same.
