Hope In Motion

riding for healthy, resilient farms

Help Hope in Motion raise $700!

Edmond and Michelle DeMattia are fundraising for Team CSA - Hope in Motion and need your help to meet their $700 fundraising goal before October, 2021.

Edmond and Michelle are fundraising because…

“Healthy and resilient farms naturally lead to the sustainment of the open land. As farmers struggle financially, the temptation to liquidate becomes a viable option in an effort to achieve fiscal balance. By supporting our farmers, we can help ease the financial burden our farmers face, leading to the sustainment of open land to ride in and enjoy.”

How your donation helps …

Your donation will go directly into a grant to support an on-farm project, preservation of open land, or helping youth and adults learn to love the outdoors through recreation.

AND, your donation will help us achieve a personal fitness goal. When we raise $700, we will be registered to ride in a Farm to Fork Fitness Adventure, adding miles and climbs to our tally. Our goal this year is to ride 9,000 + miles and climb 500,000 + feet!

Our favorite place to ride is Northern Baltimore County, for its lush rolling hills through farm country, and mile after mile of low traffic roads. This year, we have a big goal, thank you for your help getting us across the finish line!

Team CSA is Cyclists Supporting Agriculture. Athletes of any experience level who love to ride their bikes through iconic farmland, and who depend on farms for healthy foods and open spaces that fuel outdoor adventures are fundraising for Farm Community Fund. The money raised from these fundraisers creates project grants awarded to farms and organizations from Vermont to South Carolina that advance the funding priorities.
