The owners of Elmore Mountain Farm learned to make soap from scratch… starting with learning to milk the goat. Creating handmade soaps that smelled and felt good on their skin was a dream of theirs, and before long they had racks of sweet smelling soaps lining their garage. Their healthy herd and the collaboration of goat dairies in Vermont helped them expand their products to include lotions and other body care products.
Elmore Mountain Farm has a lot of fun with their goats and their products. Their brand is playful, and rooted in their desire to marry their love of raising goats with their own preference for good quality soaps. They are members of the Handcrafted Soaps and Cosmetics Guild and the Vermont Farm Bureau.
